Stuart in the Schools

Stuart Stotts has been working in schools in Wisconsin and throughout the Midwest since 1986. He's done thousands of performances, over one hundred residencies, and scores of teaching trainings and inservices.

Stuart's performances are always participatory, and feature a mix of stories and songs. He works most often with elementary schools, but he is very effective performing for middle and high school students. For more information about school performances, click here.

Stuart's residencies incorporate storytelling, writing, and songwriting. They frequently include performances of student work. Residencies can last from two days to two weeks, and are always planned with the interests and themes of the school in mind. For more information about residencies, click here.
