Eight Hugs a Day
You need ten hours of sleep. Three good meals a day. Exercise and take a rest, Don’t forget some time to play.
If someone’s feeling sad, If someone’s feeling sick, To show them that you love them, You know a hug will do the trick. It’s silent when we hug. It’s what we love to do. I'll make sure you're ready before I get a hug from you. Give them to your family. Give them to your friends. Give them to your teacher And one group hug before school ends. © Stuart Stotts and Tom Pease 2004
