Peace on Earth

Come sit by me as the world grows still
and the first stars shine so bright
as the long moon climbs above the hill
this wish weíll make tonight, for

peace on earth

let there be for you and me
peace on earth

for the young and for the old
as nights grow cold and dark
when songs are sung and stories told
this hope will fill our hearts

with our dreams we look ahead
to where a new world grows
where every child is praised and fed
where every family knows
