World Citizen

From Timbuktu to Lima, Peru, from Shanghai to Nepal.
From the torn down fence between Berlin to the ancient China wall.
From Moscow to Jerusalem from Cairo to Capetown
From Sydney to Seattle, I've got neighbors the whole world round.

I'm a world citizen, world citizen
Step up and shake my hand.
I'm not just from Wisconsin (Fill in the blank--Ohio)
I'm not just American.
I'm a world citizen, world citizen
home the whole world round.
You and I can break those borders down.

You can pick up a phone most anywhere and call up Singapore
You can fly a plane from Majorca, Spain and land in El Salvador.
The world keeps getting smaller. We all keep getting strong.
But we're not getting anywhere if we don't get along....Chorus

There's are some folks who have nothing, some folks who have lots
weíre neighbors on this planet, no matter how much weíve got.
We're all riding on the same train with a lot of work to do.
Noone's just a passenger, everyone's part of the crew.....Chorus

Regular folks around the world looking for peace to come.
We're every shade of the rainbow, we're big and little ones.
We're joining hands together, our voices ring out strong.
Help us build a peaceful world and help us sing this song.
